The ceremony was introduced by Prof. F. Kirschstein, President of the United International Business Schools organization, who was supported in his function by Prof. Dr. H. Dijkmans, Dean of Academic Affairs. This year’s ceremony of the International University of Belgium was held at the Royal Windsor Hotel, near the Brussels Grand Place on July 2, 2010.
Graduating students were presented their academic transcript, university certificate and final diploma. Imminent graduates were presented an updated overview of their academic progress.
Graduation speeches were delivered by undergraduate and graduate students of the Antwerp and Brussels campuses, Lorenzo Libanori (Italy) and John Douglas (USA).
Special awards for outstanding academic achievement were presented to Lorenzo Libanori (Italy), Bernhard Leiner (Austria) and Henrik Persson (Denmark). Finally, an award was presented to Prof. Arthur Ross for his commendable academic contributions in the field of business communication.
The ceremony was followed by a reception and dinner buffet, organized for the 2010 graduating class, their family and their friends.
